Answer: Each state child support is based on the income the supporting spouse makes each month. It is not based on your income too. Do you have an attorney representing you? You need to have your attorney calculate the child support based on your spouses income, not what the judge thinks. Sounds like the judge is impartial, does he have a relationship with your husbands ex, meaning does he know her, work with her or friends with her?
